Plot Introduction
The male protagonist, Arichi Masami, is suddenly sent back to his hometown, Hoji, by his mother during the spring break to help at his grandfather's inn, "Shinatuzou." After several hours of long travel, he finally arrives at this remote little town.
Due to the lack of public transport and minimal interaction with the surroundings, Hoji retains a considerable amount of ancient charm. In recent years, thanks to the internet, it has become an increasingly popular tourist destination due to its magical hot springs and unique cultural atmosphere. At the shrine in the town center, there is a divine sword called "Sōgai Maru," which has been stuck in a stone for hundreds of years, and no one has ever been able to pull it out.
